Castletech accepts its legal duties of care, as set out in the Health and Safety at Work Act, etc. 1974 and associated legislation and as a responsible and caring employer, ensuring the health and safety at work of its employees and all other persons who may be affected by its activities, including contractors, clients, visitors, students, tenants and members of the public. The importance we place on health and safety will be reflected in all activities that the Company undertakes at all times.

We recognise the role which our employees play in the proper execution and management of such issues and we implement strict site rules covering all aspects of Health & Safety awareness, including induction courses, training on specialist equipment, tool box talks, working with hazardous substances and materials, first aid and emergency procedures, etc. As part of our obligation to meet CDM and O&M requirements, we issue detailed Risk Assessments and Method Statements and insist all of our supply chain is approved by us as competent to carry out their works safely.
